Amal who?

Amal.. yeah.. Amal.. I already heard this name? Is she a model? An actress? Mmm no, I can't remember.
This is what you'd got when you ask if someone knows who Amal Alamuddin is.
Yes, she has a name that is hard to remember but, come on, she married George Clooney!

To me Amal is not just the woman who was able to catch the hard to get bachelor George Clooney but most of all because she's an incredible mole model for young girls.

Amal was born in Beirut, Lebanon, daughter of a university professor and a journalist. When she was 2, during the Lebanese civil war, her family decided to move to London where she gained the british citizenship. She grew in the south of London and then she graduated in Arts in Jurisprudence at Oxford, then she studied for a master of Laws at the New York University of Law, which is one of the most important university in the world. While studying she worked for a judge of the Supreme Court of US and in 2004 she also worked for the International Court of Justice. And this is just the beginning..
Amal worked in the office of the Prosecutor at the UN Special Tribunal for Lebanon and at the International Criminal Tribunal for Yugoslavia. Later in 2013 she was called for some UN commissions as adviser of Kofi Annan and she was involved as lawyer for high profile cases as the Cambodia or WikiLeakes ones.

In January Amal represented Armenia before the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in Strasbourg in order to present the case of the Armenina genocide.

Amal is not just a politically and socially active lawyer, she's also a fashion icon.
Since she married George Clooney, Amal flaunted really elegant and chic outfits. She can wear an absolute casual outfit in the morning and transform herself in a perfect socialite in the evening.

When she put herself in the George Clooney's wife she can be the perfect supportive wife with her stunning long dresses like at the premiere of Tomorrowland in a gold Maison Margiela dress or at the MET Gala in an amazing red dress by John Galliano.

For her wedding week end she rocked a lot of perfect outfits and she never got one wrong!
She wore an amazing red long dress by Alexander McQueen Resort, a classic black and white striped Dolce & Gabbana dress.

Amal chose this stunning white and floral macrame embroidered Giambattista Valli minidress and for the civil ceremony she wore a beautiful white Stella McCartney white two piece suit with black detail nd a floppy super chic hat.

For the formal wedding she was dressed by the master of haute couture Oscar de LaRenta! It was simple but traditional and beautiful!

She's a bad ass woman! I wish I was her!
I'm currently studying to have a work like hers and if I had half of the good luck I would be the happiest person in the world.
I think that she seem perfect.. politically active with an amazing job but at the same time she can enjoy the glamour aspects of her husband's life.
WOW!

I think that she can be a perfect role model for young women like me... Amal was able to pursue an important career and she married one of the most attractive actor in the world. If you want you can have it all, apparently. Just look at her!

When Love Ends..

I surely can say that till now 2015 has been a really tough year.. romantically speaking!
A lot of long and rock solid relationships of some celebrities just split.
Fans usually get attached to some famous couple and when they hear the news about the break up they are shocked. I mean.. all of us once in life were shocked to hear that that really cute couple split.
The classic phrases are "Noooooo! It can't be real", "It's just a rumor! Come on, it's a total fake news", "Come on, they were so cute together", "I bet he cheated on her! That asshole! I knew it!".
This year was a massacre of couples married and not. Maybe the world is running out of love? Well, I knew it before everyone else because all my friends have a significant other and I don't, so there will be one and only true explenation: there isn't enough love for everyone! ahah ;)


Let's begin from Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge. For me they were the perfect "hipster" couple, so involuntarily chic and alternative at the same time. They have been together for 4 years and for 3 they had been engaged and they also had a daughter Marlowe who is 3. After an entire month  in Ibiza for holiday they announced their break up.

 

 

We have Emma Roberts and Evan Peters, who were together since 2012 but in June of this year they split. Their relationship has always been "up and down" but last Christmas they got engaged. The couple worked together in American Horror story for 2 seasons and now they will work for the next season as a broke couple. Emma and Evan were infamously famous for have arguments in public til when Emma were arrested for domestic violence on her boyfriend and when she was released, Evan was outside waiting for her and their reunification was tearful.

 

 

Here we have also Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, my favourite couple! They married 10 years ago after they met during the filming of Daredevil. I was literally shocked when I read the news.. They were like the perfect couple, happily  normal with their gorgeous three kids Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. Rumors said that Ben cheated on Jennifer with the nanny (just like Jude Law and Sienna Miller :/ ), but you know, I'm trying to think it's fake because Jennifer (I loved her since Alias!) doesn't deserve this. And I still hope they'll get back together..
Ben if you did cheated on her, you're an asshole!

 

Another cold spike in my heart was when last week they announced their divorce after 12 years of marriage. They met in 1995 during both of them were on tour and in 2002 they decided to marry.

They had 3 children during their marriage, Kingston, Zuma and Apollo plus Daisy Lowe who is Gavin's daughter.

I always liked Gwen since she was in No Doubt, I followed her also when she went solo and I loved her songs. I appreciate also Gavin; when he released his single Love remains the same, I played that song on loop for months.

 They were that couple who met when they were young so punk rock and they grew together and remained so punk chic. I loved them! So rock!

 

Then we have more recent couple.. Both coming from One Direction. Louis Tomlinson with Eleanor Calder and Zayn Malik with Perrie Edwards.

Louis dumped her girlfriend after 4 years. The news emerged after Louis was spotted kissing a girl in a pool in Thailand while he was on tour.. and that girl was not Eleanor. 1D's spokeperson confirmed that Louis and Eleanor broke up two week before Louis was spotted kissing another girl. The Elounor were a milestone of the 1D's couples. Fans were devastated by the news especially after the rumor of Louis cheating on Eleanor. You can't imagine how fans freaked out when just after 4 months Louis confirmed that he was becoming a dad. He got pregnant a girl he was seeing in LA which apparently is his friend.

 

 

Let's pass to another shock break up. The other day, the news that Zayn Malik broke up with his fiance Perrie Edwards was out. Zayn and Perrie  were together for three years and they got engaged two years ago. The rumor that is spreading so fast is that Zayn after signing a contract with RCA decided to break up with Perrie through a text while he was in LA!!! Come on, Zayn, a text???? You're a 22 grown-up-young man!
Moreover, after he was spotted a little bit too cozy with a blonde fan in Thailand in march, Perrie didn't broke up with him and try to fix things up.
Right now she is in the US for promoting her new single and he is in LA to enjoy the summer and Zayn asked Perrie to move all her things from their home in London. In response Perrie deleted all their photos together from her instagram account and she took off her engagement ring trying to look more strong and beautiful than ever! Good job Perrie! You deserve way better!

 

Everyone is breaking up, it looks like there's not enough love in the world for everybody!

But you know, nowadays people are heartbroken just brefly and they're soon ready for another love interest. So don't worry, love will be soon in the air!

The Youtube's Generation

You all may have noticed that in the last few years youtube became one of the most famous video network on the net.
When I was 13, I used Youtube just for listening to music, watching some tv shows' scenes or some fanmade videos, nothing else.
I would never think to use Youtube to watch beauty, food or haul videos. Today we can use Youtube to watch almost everything! Also videos about everyday's life or travel videos that now are called vlog aka video blog.

Recently Youtube has created actual and proper celebrities! You just need your room, one camera and a good chat.
A lot of young boys and girls became famous thank you to Youtube and some of them also became presenter with their own show on E! like Grace Helbig.

Another american youtuber that became famous is Tyler Oakley who make everyone laugh with his sassy talk but also make as think about LGBT youth and rights that are not respected most of the time.

He is so relevant on Youtube and Twitter with 7 and 4 millions followers respectively that he had the opportunity to meet USA president Barack Obama and also made a video with first lady Michelle Obama.
He was also a guest at The Talk and at the Ellen DeGeneres' show and now he has a book "Binge" on the way.

There are a lot more famous american youtuber but personally I follow some british youtuber , I find them funny and they help me with my english pronunciation!

I really like the british queen of Youtube, Zoella and her boyfriend Alfie aka the Pointlessblog.
This couple of young british are really funny, fresh and also down to earth. Zoe talks about simple and normal things, she vlogs her days and then she makes make up tutorials or house and clother haul. She's a regular girl who had a great idea at the right time who lucky enough also to released a beauty range of cosmetics.

She met her current boyfriend Alfie through a Youtube's collaboration: they got in touch and decided to make a video together and there they are.. living together and rich.
Alfie aka the Pointlessblog vlogs daily documenting his entire day with Zoe, their pug Nala and their friends.

 

Both Zoe and Alfie with 8 and 4 millions followers respectively are so known by young teenagers that they wrote two books. She wrote a novel Girl Online and now she has Girl Online On tour on the way, and Alfie wrote the Pointless book, a game book which the reader can have fun with.

They were also chosen to be part of  the charity supergroup of the Band Aid 30 in 2014 with the single "Do they know it's Christmas?", accompanied by a lot of superstar singers like One Direction, Bono from U2, Rita Ora, Chris Martin and Ed Sheeran.

Speaking of Zoe.. her brother, Joe aka ThatcherJoe is a youtuber too, and a famous one with over 5 million followers.

He is more a comedian, he makes funny videos and also he vlogs his holidays and convention he is invited to.

He is the flatmate of another youtuber, Caspar Lee, a south african 20-year-old boy who is living in London and he made the same kind of videos as Joe.

 Together they are amazing.. so funny! Some fans also shipping them as a couple: Jaspar! ahah
They also have a prank war going on.. it's hilarious! ahah

Then there are Tanya Burr, who is a total sweetheart and she mainly makes make up and baking tutorial but also clothes and house hauls. Sometimes she vlogs her big events or trips. A year ago Tanya launched a beauty line of lashes and lipglosses but also a book called Love, Tanya with a lot of advices, cooking and baking recipes and little pieces of her life.

I can't talk about Tanya without mentioning her fiancè Jim. I should tell that Jim is the ideal boyfriend so nice, caring and funny but also handsome! He's a youtuber and he often participates to fashion and sport events like London Collection Men or Wimbledon.

There are youtubers who travel a lot too like Louis Cole aka FunForLouis who has an incredible life travelling around the world living a lot of adventure. He's in London just for a couple of days and then he books straight another trip for another amazing trip. I really like watching this kind of vlog because he can make other travel with him even if you're in bed at home.

There is JacksGap run by twin brothers Jack and Finn and let me tell you.. they are so handsome! Jack began to his videos documenting his trips during his gap year between highschool and university. Later he was joined by his twin Finn in his mega trip through India accompanied by Louis from FunForLouis.

A year and a half ago, Jack travelled from London to Sidney just to surprise her girlfriend for her birthday! Awwww

 

 

I should talk about my favourite youtuber: the SacconeJolys. They are a italian-irish family composed by Jonathan, Anna and their children Emilia and Eduardo. They vlog their entire day daily never missing one.

 

 

Its amazing how watching their videos you can see their little ones grow from their birth, through their first steps to their first words. Emilia and Eduardo are the cutest thing ever!

 


The family lived in Irland but last year they decided to move to England in order to be more connected with their followers and Youtube HQ. It was funny also see the family moving with two little children and their 6 (!!!) maltese dogs.

I began to watch these youtuber about a year ago when all this crazy and sad period of my life started and you know what? Watching these videos was the only moments of happiness and light heartedness because everyday I had that hour where could think about nothing except for enjoying their happy moments. I find really nice also that all these youtubers are friends for real!

Nowadays youtubers are always more popular most of all between teenagers that are making them become the new famous because they are normal people like the viewers, who can relate with youtubers more than with actors or singers.
