British Fashion Awards 2016

Last week took place the British Fashion Award, where international and british celebrities, models, designers and fashion related personalities are recognized for their talent.

 

Gigi Hadid won the award for thr category  International Model and she wore a very delicate baby blue silk jumpsuit with a darker train by Atelier Versace. Also for honouring the designer Donatella Versace who presented her for the award.

 

Karlie Kloss opted for a more classic and elegant look with a long silk and velvet black dress by Stella McCartney, accessorized with a tight gold belt.

 Jourdan Dunn was simply stunning in her white ensemble made of silk crop top and bell bottom trousers by Brandon Maxwell. Wow!

Salma Hayek a very particular look, wearing a silk jaquard gown with embroidered patches by Gucci.

Douglas Booth wore a sleek single-breasted tuxedo jacket combined with a classic, crisp white shirt, all by Burberry.

His girlfriend, actress Bel Powley chose a two-piece baby blue cape suit, crafted form fine silk jaquard featuring a geometric print, fitted at the waist by Burberry.

Winnie Harlow wore a black silk strapless dress by Baja East.

Jared Leto presented the award for the International Accessories Designer won by his designer friend Alessandro Michele from Gucci.
Jared obviously wore a head-to-toe Gucci outfit with  a red silk embroidered reversible kimono, double breasted shantung evening jacket, yellow crystal bowtie, wool trousers with white piping and GG buckle mocassins.
Alessandro, instead, opted for a jaquard three-piece suit and it was so hectic but amazing.

 Domhnall Gleeson wore a black Burberry jacket, trousers and silk scarf.

Annabelle Wallis, who can be seen in the upcoming remake of The Mummy with Tom Cruise, opted for a black floral mini dress by Alexander McQueen.

The comedian Jack Whitehall, chose a Buberry tuxedo, s ginel breasted suit featuing contrast texture lapels and pocket detail.

Kate Beckinsale wore a total black smoking with silk details by Ralph Lauren.

Lady Gaga wore a stunning black gown by Brandon Maxwell.

Alexa Chung opted for a pale yellow suit with feather and beaded embroideries by Prada.

Nicole Scherzinger wore this sexy black see-through and cut-out Julien Macdonald jumpsuit.

Daisy Lowe was super cute with her skintight fuchsia, chain embellished jumpsuit by Antonio Berardi.

Jaden Smith wore a Gucci Cruise 2017 collection striped satin two-button shawl collar suit with a white cotton shirt and black leather plush lined loafers.

 Naomi Campbell wore this amazing black Alexander McQueen SS17 "Shetland Scene" jet embroidered  dress.

I think the British Fashion Awards is one of the nicest event for fashion, not only for Britain but also internationally speaking.
Who was your favourite winner? For me it was the Gucci designer Alessandro Michele. I think his last collection was brilliant!
