Golden Globes 2018

Golden Globes! This year Golden Globes was so important after the big scandal of Harvey Weinstein and the sexual harrasment he perpetuated during all these years to a lot of famous and non-famous actresses.
That's why on the red carpet, celebrities decided to join the cause called Time's up wearing black to demonstrate their support to abused women.
I really liked the idea to bring activits of the movement against womens' abuse as celebrities' dates on the red carpet to raise even more awareness around the world.

Let's talk a little bit about fashion!


Lily James wore a stunning black Valentino gown with Harry Winston jewelry.

Kerry Washington opted for a black sequin gown by Prabal Gurung, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Roger Vivier shoes.

Zoe Kravitz chose a very sophisticated black velvet  strapless Saint Laurent dress with YSL bag, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Christian Louboutin shoes.  

Viola Davis, oh Viola Davis! As always for me is one of the best dressed at the events. She wore a black velvet dress by Brandon Maxwell, Tyler Ellis cltuch and Stuart Weitzman shoes.

Penelope Cruz is very sensual in her black Ralph &Russo off-the-shoulders dress with Atelier Swarovski jewels and Christian Louboutin shoes. 

Nicole Kidman chose a black Givenchy gown with bag and shoes from the same designer, an Omega watch and Fred Leighton jewels.

Alicia Vikander was simply beautiful in her black dress by Louis Vuitton with Bulgari earrings and ring.

Kendall Jenner wore a breath-taking dress by Giambattista Valli with Lorraine Schwartz earrings.

For the After Party, she opted for a more "casual" look with an Alexandre Vauthier dress together with her friend Hailey Baldwin, who was wearinf a DSquared2 dress with Jennier Fisher earrings and Jimmy Choo shoes.

Dakota Johnson was another best dressed for the night, with her stunning black dress by Gucci and Nirav Modi bangles and earrings.

Margot Robbie was another celebrity, who teamed up with Gucci for the night, wearing one of their dresses withRiger Vivier shoes and clutch and Tiffany & Co. jewels.

I like also the fact that this year, Golden Globes was not just about awards, fashion and celebrities but it was also about awareness and fight against a world where women are treated like a piece of meat who has to gratity men's ego. But now Time's up, because it's time to say no to silence and stand against discrimination and sexual harrasments.
