Everyone was going crazy trying to figuring out what was the theme and what to wear. Some nailed it, some others didn't, but the this year's hosts definitely did!
The hosts of this year's gala were Vogue director Anna Wintour, Serena Williams, Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele, Harry Styles and Lady Gaga.
Lady Gaga walked the pink carpet in 4 outfits!!! All by her friend Brandon Maxwell.
Serena Williams rocked a yellow and pink gown by Atelieri Versace with Judith Leiber clutch, De Grisogono jewelry and Off White for Nike snickers!!
Harry Styles, my fave ever, wore a total black look by Gucci with a sheer shirt and very high waisted trousers. He completed his look with a single pearls earring by Gucci.
Another favourite of mine from last night was Celine Dion in her Oscar de la Renta dress with Fred Leighton jewels and Chloe Gosselin shoes. Simply stunning!
Let's add Billy Porter to my favourite list in this total gold look.
Billy decided to wear a look by The Blonds with Oscar Heyman, Andreoli, Mordekai and John Hardy jewelry and Giuseppe Zanotti boots.
Mindy Kaling wore a gold Moschino gown wth casadei shoes and David Webb jewels.
Laverne Cox channeled Hunger Games with her custom Christian Siriano gown, Rinaldy Yunardi headpiece, Kallati Jewelry earrings, Le Vian rings, and Kenneth Cole shoes and Judith Leiber clutch.
Darren Criss opted for a Balmain look with David Yurman rings and he completed his look with some effective make-up.
Lizzo was amazing in her pink look by Marc Jacobs.
Micheal Urie rocked both his feminine and masculine sides in his double outfit by Christian Siriano.
Naomi Campbell chose a pink number by Pier Paolo Piccioli for Valentino Haute Couture with cape, shoes with Bulgari and Heritage jewels.
Tracee Ellis Ross was elegant and camp at the same time in her outfit by Moschino with Jimmy Choo shoes and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
Elle Fanning wore an orange custom Miu Miu outfit, necklace and shoes with Tiffany & Co. rings and earrings.
Cara Delevingne opted for a colourful look by Dior Haute Couture with a Machine Dazzle head piece and Swarovski shoes.
Ezra Miller chose a custom Burberry by Riccardo Tisci tux with Tiffany and Co. jewelry.
Lucy Boynton wore a Prada gown with Harry Winston jewelry.
Zendaya transformed herself into a tech Cinderella with a custom Tommy Hilfiger gown with Stefere jewelry.
Priyanka Chopra matched with her husband Nick Jonas and she chose a Dior Haute Couture with Chopard jewelry and Nick chose a Dior Men white suit, Christian Louboutin shoes, a Chopard necklace, Borgioni and Marli New York ear cuffs, a L’Dezen bracelet, and Djula rings.
Benedict Cumberbatch opted for a Labassa Woolfe suit and his wife Sophie opted for a bespoke Roksanda gown.

I have to say that this year I am quite satisfied with most of the looks from the pink carpet. Of course there were celebrities who weren't able to follow the dresscode but had quite interesting outfits from last night.
Now we want to know what theme will be reserved for next year!
