Milan, Man!

I loveeeeee men fashion!! Even if I'm a woman I love to see what are the newest trends for men.
What kind of man will be seen in the streets next season?
Usually the fashion year begins with London Collection Men (LCM) but this year the name is changed and from now on it will be Fashion Week Men (FWM).
I have to admit that this year the London week quite disappointed me. The collections weren't so great and the atmosphere was not that exciting. Milan, instead was brilliant!
The autumn/winter 2017 men collections presented in Milan were very interesting.

From Hello to Ciao

The other day we were in New York and now we're overseas, in London precisely!
London presented us a lot of designers, both british and international with very original collections but with some recurring trends that you can recognize as nust haves for spring and summer 2017.

What Kind of Man

It's time to share our time with men. It's their time!
Between the London Collection Men and the Milan Fashion Week the most innovative and classic designers proposed the new looks for the spring and summer 2017.

Let's start from London!
London Collection Men proposed various looks from eclectic to the most classic and original.

From London to Milan

 Soooooo, London Fashion Week passed so fast and we're in the middle of the Milan Fashion Week. You can't rest a moment that fashion comes, does and goes. ZAP and it's finished! I almost didn't realize that London was finished that we were already in Milan! ahah

Italians do it better

Milan Fashion Week just finished and we are in the middle of the Paris Fashion Week, but let's appreciate a little bit the italian fashion parenthesis.
In Milan there were presented a lot of international brands but it was focused on the italian ones.
We all know that after Paris, Italy is one of the most important country for fashion!

Dolce & "Mamma"

Milan Fashion Week is almost done bringing with it a lot of new trends and good fashion shows.
In my opinion one of the best catwalk of this season was the Dolce & Gabbana one. I loved it! I love the dresses, the inspirations but most of all the tribute to all mothers. It was really sweet!
On the catwalk there were models with babies and little children. 

The dresses were amazing! In the last couple of seasons Dolce & Gabbana's collections were inspired by the '50s in Sicily , south of Italy, but also by the baroque style and the byzantine's mosaics.

This year they kept all the "old" inspirations and add some modernity and sweetness and warness of a mother.

 



The  modern style was lighted up by the adorned headphones and the sweetness of a mother was represented by the children's drawings printed on the skirts or the print "MAMMA" on a jersey rather than "Ti voglio bene mamma".

 

 



This collection, in my opinion is all about a celebrationof motherhood, in fact the italian designers made modeling a radiant and pregnant Bianca Balti with a pale pink dress and also a lot of models bringing  little children with them, on the note of Mama by Spice Girls.





 


The collection were dredged with  embroidered red roses, sicilian lace, fit dresses and longette skirts all matching the main colours: black, red and gold.

 

The shoes were special in velvet with little roses and details or super sparklings!

 

 A little detail that I really appreciated was the headbands with little red roses or adorned with little gold jewelry or pearl.

I am italian so maybe I could understand  what D&G wanted to show to the world. This is a strong mother-child bond that is instilled in us till we're children. We love our moms so much! Like we say here in Italy we're such "mammoni" and we're about it! 
You can touch everything but our MAMMA!
