Movie, after movie..

September, for me, means always return from the summer holidays, back to school/work and of course the beginning of awards season but most of all the new edition of the Venice Film Festival.
I will never be tired of saying that Venice is one of the most beautiful city in the world and as consequence is one of the best location for a festival like that.
Two weeks full of premieres, dinners, gala and glamour all on the amazing locations of Venice on the water.

Venice Film Festival is here with its 73rd edition and this year the jury is composed by Sam Mendes, English film director of the last two James Bond's movies and President of the jury, Laurie Anderson, American artist, Gemma Arterton, English actress saw in a lot of films such as Quantum of Solace. Giancarlo De Cataldo, Italian writer, Nina Hoss, German actress, Chiara Mastroianni, Italian actress, Joshua Oppenheimer, American director, Lorenzo Vigas, Venezuelan director and Zhao Wei, Chinese actress, singer and director.




At the photocall of the film The Bleeder, Naomi Watts wore a nice yellow dress by Roksanda and Nicholas Kirkwood shoes.

At the premiere of The Bleeder, Naomi chose a sheer nude dress by Elie Saab from his Haute Couture collection and Jimmy Choo's clutch and shoes. Her husband and co-star Liev Schreiber wore a classic black Burberry tux with Prada shoes.

At the dinner to celebrate the premiere of their new film The Bleeder, Naomi chose a black Fendi dress with Jimmy Choo clutch and Tabitha Simmons boots. Liev, instead chose to wear a Burberry tuxedo and Prada shoes, like on the red carpet.

 



At the arrival, Amy Adams chose an adorable blue and green dress by Fendi with Jennifer Meyer jewelry and Christian Louboutin shoes.

At her new movie photocall Nocturnal Animals by Tom Ford, Amy opted for a Tom Ford dress to match with a navy blue classic blazer, high heels and Jennifer Meyer jewelry. Her co-stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Aaron Johnson wore all Tom Ford outfits. 

Later, on the red carpet, she chose a long black sheer gown by Stella McCartney with Neil Lane jewelry and Jimmy Choo shoes.

 

 At the premiere of her film Nocturnal Animals, Amy decided to wear a gorgeous one shoulder gold dress by Tom Ford, Jake Gyllenhaal wore a Tom Ford tuxed matched with shirt, bow tie and shoes, option that was chose also by Aaron Johnson and Tom FOrd himself.

 

 

Alicia Vikander, at the arrival, wore a blue and white Prabal Gurung dress with Mansur Gavriel shoes and Delfina Delettrez jewels. She was accompanied by her co-star and boyfriend Michael Fassbender who was wearing a simple white shirt with navy blue jacket and jeans.

 

At the premiere of their film The Light Between Oceans, Alicia opted for a Louis Vuitton dress with Bulgari jewels.

 

Gemma Arterton, who is part of the jury, chose to wear a navy blue 50's style dress by Prada at the Miu Miu Women's Tales Dinner.

On the red carpet Gemma, opted for a tight long black dress with  lace details on the neckline by Stella McCartney.

 


 At the premiere of Young Pope starring Jude Law, Gemma Arterton wore a beautiful see-through sheer and sparkly black dress teaming with Armani and matching it with Jimmy Choo shoes.
She's stunning!

At the photocall for the jury, Gemma chose a simple but super elegant white mini dress by Ralph & Russo.

Emma Stone, at the photocall for her upcoming film La La Land wore an adorable pink and green Giambattista Valli mini dress with Jimmy Choos shoes and Jennifer Meyer jewelry.

 At the premiere of La La Land, Emma opted for a silver dress by Atelier Versace with Jimmy Choo shoes and Selim Mouzannar jewelry.

 

Later, at the dinner party for the premiere, Emma chose a lilac silk mini dress by Atelier with Jimmy Choo shoes and Selim Mouzannar jewels.

Barbara Palvin, at the premiere of Nocturnal Animals, wore an amazing ivory custom dress with baby blue velvet details by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.

Dakota Fanning, at ther arrival, wore a chic baby blue outfit by Miu Miu.

 For the photo call, she wore a purple Dolce & Gabbana dress with Christian Louboutin heels.

 

 On the red carpet, for the premiere of Brimstone, she wore an outstanding sequin gown by Miu Miu with Gucci shoes and Neil Lane jewelry. She was magical!

Our Sophie Turner aka star of Game of Thrones Sansa Stark, was amazing in her black and white Yanina Haute Couture dress and her new blonde platinum do.

 

Teresa Palmer and her adorable baby bump, at the photocall wore a floral Valentino dress and later, on the red carpet, at the premiere of her film Hacksaw Ridge she was stunning with her pretty pink gown by Prada with crystal details all over it.


 

 

Natalie Portman, for the premiere of her film Jackie chose a black and white Valentino dress with Bulgari jewelry.

At the photocall of Planetarium, she chose an adorable mini dress with birds print all over it by Red Valentino.

Later that night, at the premiere of Planetarium, she showed up her baby bump in a white and elegant one shoulder silk Dior gown.

Suki Waterhouse wore a custom pink sequin long dress by Dolce & Gabbana at the premiere of The Bad Batch.

At her arrival instead, she chose a long checked shirt dress by Public School matching it with Fendi sunglasses.

Later, she changed into a pink salmon gown by Fendi.
